--What is your most recent POV character’s worst nightmare?

Kevin's (I do write people other than Kevin! I'm writing Lego Batman right now as well! But most recent is Kevin...) would probably be losing his job and not being able to provide for his family. He's one of those people whose self-esteem is intricately bound up in whether or not he's a good provider and able to take care of the people he loves.

I've gotten little writing done, but I have a lot of ideas, still! For the nonfiction, I'm at the frustrating point where I have to go find the quotes to support my argument, which is... annoying when they're buried somewhere in a three-hour video interview. I hope your research is not being a nightmare and you're feeling happy and productive!

Hmm, that would be Quinn from my newest romance novel. I think her nightmare would be pretty close to her life right now (which isn't that much of a surprise as I'm at the start of the novel). She's an artist whose day job eats all her time and energy, doing customer service for a job that doesn't appreciate her hardly at all with coworker she doesn't respect or want to spend time with. The only way it could be worse is if she was stuck there forever.

She's very determined not to be stuck there forever.

Not that she sees the way out yet. *grin* That way out will probably come from Morgan, her crush and future love interest. Because, you know, romance novel. *laughs*

My writing is going slow but steady. Unfortunately, it's fallen off as I reformat one of my series and give it all new covers and blurbs. Very labor intensive but very, very needed. Can't be helped.

Ahahahaha. I feel you on research. My research is being a nightmare too. XD My kimono research is buried in about a dozen books that I need to read. Ah~ I'm fully expecting my head to explode before I manage to read all of those books. At least it's a good way to go.

You've caught me between Saitou and Loki. (Yay I'm writing my Thorki fic FINALLY. And literally caught between them because I have been writing a few sentences in one fic and then switching to the other. XD How I keep things straight is a mystery to me.)

So let's see... Loki's worst nightmare would probably be being accepted by all of Asgardr and no longer hated, no longer seen as evil. There's no way he could accept that as truth, and if it were truly genuine, Loki would do whatever he could to prove none of it was real, destroying whatever sort of hope for peace in his long, long life.

Ah, Saitou... I think he already lived through his worst nightmares. He watched his world crumble around him, even as he fought valiantly, to the very end to save what he valued most. He watched as the samurai way of life was done away with, his way of life. He lost so many friends, so many great warriors. Perhaps the only thing worse than all of that would be for his sacrifices to mean nothing, the government becoming truly corrupt and twisted.

My writing has been going really well! I started working at least on my Thorki fic for the Marvel BigBang. Still haven't gotten to SuperBat, but... I'll pick my battles and be happy I'm at least diving into one of my BigBangs. =D

I love research. I love it so much, even when it makes my head want to implode! I just really love digging into something and learning everything I can...

Wow, that's a depressing but also REALLY authentic and I think insightful look at Loki.

You're really good at putting your finger right on the worst possible thing for your characters! That's a gift!

Rorden's greatest nightmare would be to see Ghostriver Farm in its current state, overrun by demons, to be physically there, and then turn around and have the hoards descending on him as well. He's woken up sweating from that particular nightmare. Depending on where the campaign goes, he may end up confronted with the ashes of his home...

Sian's would be, as established in the greatest fears, any loss of his family.

Mary's greatest nightmare would also be the loss of Sian's family, because they are her new family and it would force her to relive the trauma of losing her first.
