--Do the characters in your current WiP have any motivations that are hidden from other characters, or that they themselves are unaware of?

Hmmm, well, if they do, they remain hidden from me as well right now! Wrestlers are so cagey in interviews and rarely give much away, it's a sleuthing process to guess at anything...

No writing this week either, but I did do some research and canon review and am hoping to write this weekend! Here's to good research and writing for all of us!

I'd say that Bruce's hidden motivations have been exposed, but maybe this AU's Dick has some? I might say unaware, but this version of Dick is a little harder-edged.

Bruce is always the one with the motivations he tends to hide from people! It's always satisfying when you get them dragged out into the light...

I don't know if my characters have any hidden motivations from themselves but possibly from each other. Lois has her own secret she's keeping from Clark and since my role reversal is fully set in Lois's POV, Clark's thought process has never been front and center. He's more open to Lois than she is to him, but as he gets closer to finding out Lois's secret and developing feelings for her out of costume, I'm sure she won't know most of what is going on in his head either.

I love the role reversal here and what that does with their characters! Lois being unsure of Clark's motivations with their roles swapped makes for a really meaty story, I think.
