--Is your current WiP inspired by any real-world events or experiences?

This is a very "duh" question for me this week, because it's a history/biography, so of course! Usually that's a lot rarer when I'm writing fiction, although sometimes I'll have some historical parallels.

This week has been brutal--classes started and so of course I immediately have no time, and also a houseguest came to visit for a night yesterday so the house had to be immaculate! Hoping to get back to at least an hour a day of writing starting tomorrow, though... How are things with you?

Yes, there are chapters dealing with service in Korea. More than one character gets that background. You'd be surprised how many people served in that 'police action'.
