This has been a hard week for geeks: first Nimoy and today Pratchett. *deep sigh*
--Talk about your current WiP(s) a little!
I've actually had a really good writing week! I have three chapters done and ready to be posted when they get betaed, which is a lovely feeling. I'm starting work on an introspective chapter after a big action scene in one fic, and about to start more found-family hijinks in another. I have a third one that I'm trying to make progress on, but the sex scene is refusing to happen. *shrug* I probably shouldn't be working on three things at once! How about you, what's on your plate at the moment?

:D I've done well this week! I finished the novel yesterday, topping out at just shy of 60K and I started a short story today and got 4200 words on it. I think it'll end up as a novella. Either way, progress has been made! *cheers*
Good luck on your sex scene! They can be hard to write, especially when you're juggling stories.

I will join you in the guilt--I read the very first Discworld novel when it came out and I was in high school, and...I was far too earnest and Serious to enjoy anything poking fun at my beloved fantasy genre, so I just didn't enjoy it very much, and I never read anything else by him! Everything I've read about him indicates I would find his books deeply humane and affectionate, so I probably ought to go looking...

*cheers with you* I'm glad we both had good weeks! 4200 words in a day on one story is really wonderful, it's SUCH a satisfying feeling to go from nothing to pretty deep into a story.
