Who is the character in your latest WiP who is most likely to live the longest?

Oh, well, I'm looking at those superhero stories and thinking about how Clark's hypothetical immortality is one of my absolute favorite sources of angst! I love that so much. Who's going to outlive the people they love in your WiP?

(I went to post this last week and I guess never hit the "post" button? My bad!

Clark would usually be the answer for me too and his immortality is interesting and definitely a source of good angst! For my WIP, it would be Lois since the roles are reversed. She hasn't considered that she may be immortal yet though (and I haven't decided on whether I will touch on it, since I don't want to stray too far from the plot). Diana would be the one who is confirmed to outlive everyone since she's already been around so long as it is.

I agree, with any long story with a Kryptonian I feel like that immortality is always lurking in the background for me, but I usually don't choose to foreground it because it can be a distraction. And Diana! The comic books rarely lean into the angst of that, but I love when they do...
