Oh, interesting question! In my current WiP there are a lot of possibilities, because I'm writing from the POV of a group of bad guys. But they're fighting some other bad guys, and I think the most insecure is actually one of the guys they're fighting, because he's older and feels like he's washed-up. This has led to being able to write some fun jabs and jibes from my POV heroine!

I love writing insecure people, honestly. Who have you got?

Hmm, in my original novel that I'm working on, I'd nominate the puppy. He gets a lot of love and attention but he's occasionally met with hostility outside the home. Poor little puppy. 🐶

No, but the story revolves around him. He's such a cutie! 🐶 ☺️ 🐶

It's interesting to see characters exploit each other's known weaknesses (mental or otherwise), especially if it is the type of character who aren't afraid to do that.

I don't know who the most insecure person would be in my role reversal. Maybe Lois? I wouldn't call her insecure but she does have doubts and insecurities regarding her dual life. She definitely has abandonment issues.

Clark's doubts and insecurities are a good thing. I wouldn't want someone without either with his powers!
