 Who from your current WiPis most likely to kill someone on purpose?

Last week was by accident, this week is on purpose! Uh, it's a tough one because there are a couple of very minor characters in my history who have actually literally killed people, though I try very hard to minimize their role in the story. Of the more major characters, Kevin and Sami have a few opponents earlier in their career against some pretty iffy people...

Who's the most likely to kill someone on purpose in your wip, and would they be justified? :)

The main character's kid is one, but he and his wife don't know it. There are signs, but in this past era, people aren't as aware of them. And the kid is very good at hiding what he's doing.

Lex is more of a minor character in my role reversal fic, and he prefers to have someone else do the dirty work, but he would definitely be the to intentionally kill someone and no, he wouldn't be justified. Out of the main characters, if push came to shove, it might be Diana and if she went there, she would be justified. I haven't decided how much Oliver Queen will be around but he has canonically killed someone in Smallville and I can see him doing it again, just the one time, because in canon, he did get messed up by it. It's 50/50 on whether he's justified.

Diana is a trained warrior, so she definitely could kill. She prefers the peaceful resolution but if necessary, she will do it, like with Max Lord.

That's what I was thinking too. I haven't read the comics where she kills Max Lord but I was aware of that plot and it was on my mind when I chose her. :)

She caught a lot of flack for that, but the Golden Lasso around Max got the truth out of him. He would continue to mind-control Clark and the only way to stop him (Max) was to kill him, so Diana did. She knew that it would devastate Clark to be forced to kill under Max's control.

Clark and Bruce were coldly disapproving, but they're not soldiers, they're superheroes. I think that's one of the reasons she and Steve match: he's a soldier and understands what that entails.

Oh yeah, I was definitely on Diana's side when I read what happened. There was no other solution and the last thing the world needs is a mind controlled Superman going on a rampage and it would ruin Clark to be used like that.

Agreed. I get why Clark (and Bruce) are reluctant to cross that line, especially with the way people love to tear down a hero, but Steve would get that you can't always keep your hands clean when the safety of the greater world is at risk.

That's kind of fascinating the different levels there, from Lex who would do it easily and be unjustified to Diana who also wouldn't hesitate but who would be justified, to Oliver who would be torn about it, really whether it were justified or not.
