--What's your favorite ship from your current WiP?

I think this will be a pretty easy question for all of us because we're all writing very pair-based stories! Even all romances, if we stretch the definition a bit to include a more Platonic romance for my book. :)

So obviously if I'm writing a book about the history of a pair of people, they're going to be my favorite ship! One of my favorites won a title two weeks ago and this week he said he was "leering" at them, and a bunch of people were like "Oh, that reminds me of that one fic where they have sex on top of their titles," and I had to be all innocent as though it were not my own fic, lol. Awkward.

Tell me about your current favorite pairs! I love hearing about them afresh.

LOL That is funny though I can see how it would be awkward for you. :D

My two main WIPs are both Clois fics so that would be them and it is fun because their relationship is different in both despite them being the same version (Smallville). The fake dating fic is set in s5, where the feelings are not there yet in the beginning so it really takes time for them to grow and it is fun exploring that angle. In my Clois role reversal fic, they met as adults so the dynamic is slightly different. They're still in the earlier stages of forming the League but I've really enjoyed writing a Lois & Diana friendship, along with Diana/Steve, when I can fit them in there in that story too. :D

I've seen canon writers focus on Selina and Lois and that was fun, but I always think Diana and Lois would get along like gangbusters and we don't get to see it very often! So I'm always in favor of fics where they interact. :)

Totally agree! I was always sad that they never interacted in the DCEU, since Amy Adams & Gal Gadot had great off screen chemistry during interviews. They did meet in the Smallville season 11 comics at least though and apparently, they got along very well, which was nice to hear. :D

Steve and Diana are doing well. They had some hot, sexy times on Yule, and Diana is planning on more. 😈

Clark is happy, which makes Bruce happy, though he's unlikely to admit it. 😝

Currently working on a WIP with my McHale's Navy duo, Christy and Virgil, and they're weathering some turbulent times. 🚤

Oh, I 100% approve of this for Steve and Diana! I'm so happy that both you and svgurl are doing something with Steve/Diana, it's a ship that deserves the world. Can you believe that when we started interacting Steve didn't even EXIST in canon anymore? It's been so great to have them together again!
