--What is your favorite sense to incorporate in your writing?

Oooh, I struggle to make sure I'm getting senses into my writing! One of my weaknesses as a writer is that I tend to write a lot of thinking and feeling, not so much sensing. Sight is probably one of my strongest--I try to create a cinematic feeling with my words and I sometimes even succeed (I think!)

How's your writing going? No news from the editor--I'm going to have to guts up and write her again soon.

All the senses are great, of course, but I'll choose taste for this question. As a foodie, I love describing the characters' taste sensations as they eat. Food can also be very passionate! ;)

I had a feeling you'd go for that one! Food also has smell and texture, so it's wonderfully complex.

Ha, ha, you guessed correctly! Food can engage all the senses, all right: the sizzle of bacon, the prettiness of a fancy cake, crunchy chips, the smell of turkey cooking, and taste, taste, taste! :)
