--How is your style different in this WiP compared to previous ones? has it more shifted for the story or just developed in general?

I've started a fic based on an idea someone gifted to me long ago, where Clark's rocket landed on Themyscira instead of in Kansas and he's grown up on Paradise Island among the Amazons. I don't feel like my style is particularly different in this one! I've been toying with trying a more omniscient, legendary point of view, but a few false starts in I don't think that's going to end up working for me. How do you feel like your style has changed over time?

I honestly don't think my style has changed all that much. My handling of detail and exposition has dramatically improved over time so I'm able to get much better depth to pull the reader in. That's a skill, though, not a style thing. My style hasn't much changed at all.

I LOVE the idea of Clark growing up with Diana! That would be so much fun--I hope that you finish it and share it so I can squee all over it! :D

Style doesn't tend to shift a lot once you've gotten the hang of writing, I think! Unless you're deliberately trying something different.

I'm having fun with Paradise Island! I actually think Kal would really thrive in that culture, although there's always going to be a bit of an edge from some Amazons displeased about him being allowed to stay...

It's so hot here that it's hard to believe Halloween is just around the corner! And I've been reading your loving food descriptions for fifteen years now (holy smokes!) and I always love them.
