Merry Christmas to all who celebrate! I hope the end of the year beings you nothing but light and love.

--If you were to revise one of your older fics from start to finish, which would it be and why?

Probably Music of the Spheres, which I still love but I think has some unfortunate melodramatic excesses and missed notes here and there. I've wanted to continue it for a while now, but I think my writing style has shifted a bit and I'm afraid that would be noticeable...

How has writing been going? I'm hoping to tackle the Yuletide archive soon...my main fic has gone unloved save by its recipient, but they left a wonderful enough note to make it all worthwhile. <3 With Yuletide out of the way, it's back to long series and maybe a hope of writing some one-shots here and there!

Oh goodness, I really don't know. I've thought about redoing The Collar to make it original fic (it's half a step from it currently) but it would be such a huge undertaking that I've not even started on it other than a half chapter. Besides, the start of the story is so harsh that I'm not sure I'd ever do it.

Mostly, I tend to think the stories I've written are the best I could do at that time so I leave them alone. If I let myself go back and rewrite things I think I'd never write anything new and wow, not the way to go for me. *wry smile*

*snort* Writing? What is this writing you speak of? I've gotten pretty much nothing so far this week due to the holiday. But I'm getting back at it today so hopefully it'll improve from here out. There's a 9-day Mythbusters marathon running on TV though so... maybe not. *grin* I love that show far too much! XD

Filing off serial numbers always feels like it would be more work than it was worth, almost! Once you get rid of what makes Tim Drake Tim Drake and replaced it with new things to keep him interesting, you might as well have made an original character, it seems.

I hear you on the no-writing! I've been sneaking off and writing a sentence here and there just to keep from drying up entirely, but it's not adding up to much...

Since it's been so long since I've written the 'beginning' (Heerah's recruitment), I know it needs heavy revision and I want to give it that at some point. My ideas about where the characters would be in their development and how it would all go down have changed quite a lot since then.

I've done a little this week and I'm pleased with it, but now that this new job is on the horizon I fear for my future productivity!

I fear for your productivity as well, but at least the reasons are money-making ones! :) And I've really enjoyed the things I've gotten a chance to see this month...
