Where are you in the writing process in your current WiP?

Unbelievably, I... FINISHED AND POSTED A FIC OMG. I was so happy! It was such a satisfying feeling.

But that means I'm still at the brainstorming and planning phase with my next fic! It's an exchange fic, and I have to watch (of all things) Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome to prepare (it's a fusion with the Mad Max series and I've never watched any of the original series...) I hope you're at a sat6isfying point in the process for you too!

Wow, go, you! :)

Right now I'm in the editing stages of a WIP (still Bigfoot, ha, ha) and I managed to become inspired by new episodes of shows I've been watching, so that's good.

I'm not sure where I'll go next for fanfic, though I do have another idea for Superman & Lois. That show has really grown on me! :)

I need to get caught up on Superman and Lois! I hear there's an evil Superman... brother... out there? I'm curious!

*\o/* Yay! Congratulations on finishing the fic! And even more good luck on the exchange fic. I highly recommend Fury Road. Thunderdome is one of the series that my husband likes less but he still enjoys it. The thing that I adore about Fury Road, if it helps which I hope it does, is that Max is the framing device for the movie. It starts when he intersects the story. It ends when he leaves. Quite literally, which is cool. There's meta I've read... somewhere... Can't remember where or find it right now, that Max is a myth. A legend. The story that people in the Mad Max universe tell each other so all the different versions of Max in each movie is because it's a different storyteller with a different audience.

Which I think is super-cool. Obviously. Because I rambled. ^^;

I'm 2 chapters from the end of my current Harry Potter fic. It's tying together nicely now and I'm working on getting the ending to have the proper oomph to go with all the drama and discoveries from the rest of the story. No problem, just have to stick the landing. *laughs*

On the original fic side, I'm 11 stories from the end of my 52 week short story challenge--only 11 more shorts to write! Then I've got a super-epic epic fantasy I'm noodling, a SF Romance I want to get written (2 chapters and stalled out months and months ago), and a nonfic that's similarly stalled at the moment due to lack of time/brain.

I actually watched Fury Road when it came out and LOVED it, rather to my surprise! Thunderdome was weird but fun (and Tina Turner was awesome). It works great because I can end the fic with my characters choosing to strike off into the unknown rather than stay in Bartertown, rather like the end of the movie.

Good luck sticking that fic landing! It can be a challenge but always feels SO good when it comes together...

Oh, good luck with the exchange fic and with catching up with the Mad Max series. I hope you can change whatever notes you take while watching into an awesome fic. (I am very curious what this is for, but I'll see when it is revealed. XD)

I'm still working on the cracky crossover that turned serious (and now shippy) fusion and am in the final stages of creating a fest fic. Currently doing rewrites in the draft to tighten things up a bit.

Haha, it's an wrestling exchange fic for someone who said they love fusions of all kinds, and the two characters they wanted are two wrestlers who have a deliberate post-apocalyptic vibe (including a literal tank... Tank Girl is probably more their inspiration, but that's a tougher canon review!) I agree. It's very fun when random ideas turn into fic that becomes really interesting (to yourself and hopefully the readers) and when you suddenly start to see the serious connections between canons that shouldn't fit together at all. I feel like this has the potential to becoma one of my favorite stories when it'S doen.
