I finally got so far behind on everything that I couldn't bring myself to post for a while, I was just too embarrassed! But I have gotten a little written here and there, and I've been hoping everyone's writing is going well.
What's been inspiring you writing-wise? I watched WandaVision, half of the first episode of Superman & Lois, and will probably watch The Falcon and the Winter Soldier too, but so far nothing to inspire me in ficcish ways (which is fine! Sometimes it's nice to just watch a show). In comics canon, I've enjoyed Superman on War World quite a bit of the flash-forwards we've seen. I hope you've been able to relax and write and enjoy life!

Date: 2021-03-19 03:39 pm (UTC)I know how you feel about getting behind. Lord knows I've been reading everything on Dreamwidth but barely posting anything. This last year has been such chaos.
Right now, what's inspiring me to write is a Write 52 short stories in 52 weeks challenge I'm in. I'm on week 28 and haven't missed so far. I'm also writing some Harry Potter fics, novel length, for another challenge. Late to the party there but I'm having fun with it so I don't care.

Date: 2021-03-28 11:07 pm (UTC)Yeah, I more or less gave up fanfic after I gave up on the Nu52 ages and ages ago. Another writer I k know sucked me into Harry Potter and thus I'm plucking away at a series of HP fics that start the summer before each year. The first one is up. The second is in beta and I'm writing the third right now. It's kind of fun to have a no-pressure story again.

Boy, a chaotic year is right! Right now my original fic is stalled but at least my fanfic unstalled, so I've been busy writing a The Alienist/Murdoch Mysteries crossover. Going pretty well, too.
Sounds like tonight's episode of Superman & Lois is going to be a good one. Hopefully Smallville shines! :)

I've been very much enjoying Superman on War Wolrd too and also Justice Leage Dark and the newest reincarnation of Hellblazer.
Writing wise I've been doing well but all over new fandoms and not posting much- Also brushing up my Japanese yet again - bot for fic purposes and work related purposes. So nice when the hobby helps with that kind of thing.
