Aug. 14th, 2020 02:11 pm--What's been the best part of writing your current WiP?
Well, honestly, just the act of writing! Hitting that flow when the words come smoothly is one of my greatest happinesses, and while it doesn't happen every time I write, it doesn't happen at all if I don't make time to write! I'm writing a totally new POV character in this story--a really young kid getting a chance to work with his idol--and it's a lot of fun to be in a different kind of mindset writing.
What's bringing you joy this week?

Date: 2020-08-14 03:29 pm (UTC)The best part of my current WIP is that it's based on a trip I took to Japan so I know EXACTLY what the places look and sound and smell like. Which is both challenging and fun to convey in writing. Better still, I finally have an idea of where to go with it. It's been sitting while I dealt with Covid-Ruined-The-World feelings that made happy gentle love stories hard to write.
Good luck with your new POV! I love doing that. it's so much fun writing from someone new's POV. :D

Date: 2020-08-15 01:50 pm (UTC)I guess the best thing about writing my WIP this week is doing it in epistolary form. It's set in a time when people still had to write letters, and it's fun to write in the style of the 1890s. Even married couples can be very proper! :)
Just trying to enjoy life, but sometimes it's hard!
