Jun. 12th, 2020 11:45 am--How many books/fic have you written? Which is your favourite?
I've written almost 500 fics, though many of them are quite short. I couldn't possibly choose a definite favorite, but I actually think the one I'm most proud of in some ways is a long plotty story I wrote for the Hobbit fandom. I'd never written anything that densely plotted, and although I had the original stories to help provide structure, it was still a really interesting challenge.
Not much writing done this week--online classes are kicking my butt. I have signed up for a challenge for the first time in ages, though! Here's hoping I can actually write something...
Tell me about your favorite work this week!

Date: 2020-06-12 06:53 pm (UTC)Hmmm, favourite is hard to say, as my own feeling on this change. I don't think I have a definete one. One that I'm still very proud of and still like a lot is Tony Stark and the Hidden Hercules: A Marvels War Book which I did a lot of plotting and research for and which is one of the things that has more of an assamble cast than I usually write.
Writing goes slow. I've been disrupted by life, work and family and now I slowly have to get back on this writing track and that's always hardest when you took a forced break.
Yay, for doing a challenge! I hope it's going to be exciting and you find the time!

Date: 2020-06-13 02:20 am (UTC)So lots. Lots and lots!
My favorite is consistently the one I just finished or the one I'm working on currently, depending on if I'm hitting a critical voice point on the current story. So the Harry Potter fic is high on my list right now and I'm very happy with my latest novel to release which came out just today.
Good luck with writing and with your challenge! I'm struggling on focus still, which is just getting annoying. I want my ability to write for more than 15 minutes at a time back!

Date: 2020-06-13 02:47 pm (UTC)I have a lot of favorites. I checked AO3 and have 773 fics posted there! :)
One of my favorites is The Raven And The Nightingale series, which stars Bruce/Dick in Edwardian times. So far I have two posted and three written and plan on at least three more if I can get to them.
Halloween fics are always a favorite! I'm especially pleased with the Public Enemies fic, The Thing That Ate Chicago. It's one of my many Mel/Johnny stories and I let my imagination run wild on this one! :)
Oh, I have a zillion more, but I'll spare you! ;)
Of course I am pleased with my original work, too. I think the two novels I've completed recently aren't bad. :)
