I actually do not have a presence on Twitter as a fanfic writer! Twitter's public and widespread nature makes me very leery of it as a place to discuss fanfic--in my case specifically, a lot of the actors whose characters I write about are extremely engaged on Twitter. And because it's pro wrestling, there's a weird level at which they're basically RP-ing their characters a lot of the time (for example, they'll "argue" with whatever wrestler they're currently feuding with, playing up the conflict that's on tv), so it's extra-awkward if they see anything about fic, like the character itself is seeing it. So for fic-author purposes I stick to AO3 and Tumblr!

Writing this week was mostly research and planning, but I'm hoping to get some words on the screen soon. The daughter of my husband's former college teacher has come to live with us (she was going to school in Tokyo and her dorm basically kicked her out), so... that's a bit of a damper! We'll see if I can find a way to work around it... How goes social-distanced writing for you all?

My only SNS account is Twitter, and I use it to interact with friends only. I definitely miss FFNET's PM abilities on AO3, because back then many readers would directly message me about both my fics and fandom in general. On AO3 even normal comments are rare in most fandoms, which makes me sad.

Writing is... happening. Every once in a while. My country (Italy) is in total lockdown, and I haven't set foot farther than my own garden in over a month, which is taking a toll on my mental abilities, to be honest.

I'm on LJ and Dreamwidth, but it's grown really quiet in recent years as far as discussion or comments. I get more interaction on AO3.

I've been doing a lot of research as I'm back to my 1908 Bruce/Dick saga after a loooong hiatus. I had a flurry of fanfic ideas and now have a very nice little queue for posting. In these crazy times, writing keeps me sane! :)

Oh, looking forward to that Bruce/Dick and what's in the queue. Writing is really good to get through the crazy times! Glad to hear it's keeping you sane.

The Bruce/Dick story is coming along fine. And I'm still sane (sort of). ;)

I am on social media all day for work, so my energy to be available on social beyond modding a super busy community is very low these days.

I am available on AO3 and DW and I have an open ask box on Tumblr even though I rarely use it. I do have a discord for some of my D&D podcast fandoms, but I'm very silent there.

Not a good writing week. Something always got in the way. I am still doing writing sessions with [personal profile] trobadora so it's distanced but social writing. ;)
