Apr. 17th, 2020 12:13 pm--On a typical day, how much time do you spend writing?
I need to figure out what a "typical" day is lately! Actually writing? Maybe 30 minutes or so. Researching or brainstorming? Maybe an hour. I'm hoping to move that up a bit...
I started putting down some ideas for adding a sequel to a Clark/Bruce story that I wrote... uh, probably over a decade ago? I've wanted to add to it for ages, though... I finally came up with a hook that makes me want to write it (re-writing the iconic "cruise ship meeting" story with a genderswapped Clark) and it might actually get my heart back into it! I'm very excited.
How are your typical days right now? And what are you working on?

Date: 2020-04-17 02:28 pm (UTC)My typical writing time is anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on what else I've got going on. One of my favorite writing times occurs when I'm watching TV. I'm writing while I watch. I used to study like that, too. All A's! ;)
Wow, good to hear about your Clark/Bruce story! Never feel awkward about reviving an old story. I just picked up a Bruce/Dick story that's been untouched for 4 1/2 years. :)
I've gotten a surge of creativity for fanfic lately, so I'm riding it while I've got it! :)

I am writing something that I've been sitting on for three years now. The beginning still gives me headaches, but this time I think it wants work out. ;)
