Mar. 13th, 2020 11:35 am--Do you hear from your readers much? What do they say?
Between my very low fic production and a shift away from commenting culture, not as much as I used to--but I will still sometimes get a really lovely comment from someone who's stumbled across my stuff.
Non-fiction wise I get a fair amount of reaction for my writing, which is lovely and also stressful, since it's all on Twitter and things are a lot more... rough and tumble there than in the old LJ days. I've been called "the worst account on Twitter," which I think is a bit of a stretch! But I also get a lot of wonderful reactions when I point out things in my canon that people haven't noticed...

Date: 2020-03-13 02:03 pm (UTC)I enjoy comments on my current fic and it's always fun to get a comment on fic that's been out there for years. It shows people are reading! :)
'The worst account on Twitter'? I'd say you'd have to go far to achieve that distinction! :)
I'm in a pretty good place writing-wise. Almost finished with the first draft of my original fic and have enough ideas for fanfic to keep me busy. :)

Tone has shifted in other places too, but, wow, yeah, I've seen the rough and tumble on Twitter in different fandoms recently. ;P Negative hyperbole means you've been noticed, right? I'm glad that you're getting the lovely and wonderful reactions to make up for it.
