Seems to be Heroes of the Squared Circle, at 226,000 words! And that's not likely to be unseated anytime soon... I keep getting sidetracked by research, darn it, and I should have learned better from writing a dissertation: stop researching and WRITE, self! How are things with you, how long is what you're working on right now?

Hmm, my longest single novel is Artifacts of Awareness at 107K. But I wrote the trilogy Blood of the Artificer Mages as one novel and then broke it up for publishing. It's about 160K total.

In fanfic, the longest is Twins, a Smallville fic of mine, at 166K.

Generally, my stories end up about 40K to 60K anymore but I've got a Harry Potter fanfic that's heading towards 120K right now. Yeah, I know. Fanfic out of nowhere and a fandom I've never wrote in. No idea how that happened but it's fun so I'm rolling with it.

XD I totally know how that research bunny hole goes. Good luck escaping the hole and getting to the writing!

My longest? My Rainbow's Freedom series totals 479,218 words. :)

Ha, ha, yes, research can become a black hole if you're not careful. :)

Posted my Han/Luke story and hope to get another one up soon! :)
