--Is there an episode [issue/title/scene] above all others that inspires you just a little bit more?


Just for the confidence and camaraderie and equality.

How about you?

In writing, I'm waiting eagerly for Yuletide assignments--I haven't requested anything comic-book related (manga, but not US comic books!), but I've offered for a couple, so we shall see!  Writing has been spotty but I got a nice burst in this evening, which is good because I'll be on the road all day tomorrow...

I don't think there's any one episode or book or anything that inspires me more. People inspire me. (Like you!) Other writers who create the most incredible stories I'd never in a million years think of and readers who leave comments and Kudos and just... fandom in general. People here and on LJ (though less so lately) and Tumblr. I truly do credit fandom and the people I've met through it for the fact that I'm writing and publishing my own stories. I never would have gotten here without the Superman Returns, Smallville, SGA and DC Comics fandoms. Just... never. *tries to hug the whole world*

Oh, good luck on the Yuletide festivities! And even more luck with the traveling. That always kills my writing.

The workshop was incredible and I learned so very much. More than I can process at the moment. I'll be going over my notes again and again. But I'm back (and back to my normal sleep schedule, thank GOD!)and writing again so it's all good. Hope you succeed with the writing time!

I am very thrilled with my Yuletide assignment and am deep in canon review now! :) I'm going to have to pick a sort of arbitrary "Stop reviewing now" point or I might never finish...

I'm so glad the conference went well and you have some wonderful notes--and that your sleep schedule starts to regulate again soon! :)

This is odd to answer since I don't do fan fiction these days. So I suppose the best way to answer would be to list the media work that most inspires me to work on my Work. Which is a tie between LOTR (films and books) and the album Imaginaerum by Nightwish. They both hit the same indescribable button in my soul that the more serious side of my project does.


Writing is once again overwhelmed by real life; hoping to turn that around tomorrow.

CURSE REAL LIFE. Seriously, I need a few days to just totally recuperate from last week...I hope you can recharge a bit too!
