--a fic you have regretted posting?

Uhhhh. Huh. Very early in my writing career I wasn't savvy on basic norms and I wrote a fic with some pretty harrowing rape in it as a "gift" for a friend. Another time I gave the "gift" of a fic with unrequited love between her OTP to a friend for her birthday. Majorly boneheaded moves that I really regret, even 12 years later. I don't regret the stories per se, but I regret somehow thinking they could be considered a gift in any way...

I got some writing done this week! Somehow I have picked up a smutty plot bunny, at a time when it's very difficult for me to write smut. Ah well, we'll see how it goes. I hope you're inspired and doing well!

Not... really? I mean, there's one story with a serial killer who nearly kills her lover who's spying on their boss but I regret that one more because writing a serial killer's POV was... kinda like dipping into a sewer? Creepy as all hell.

The fanfic side, nope. Not really. Though I do still blush a little over the Narnia incest slavefic one.

I can totally understand regretting those mistakes, though. Yikes that would've been embarrassing. At least you know better and have a lovely smut-bunny to play with?

I'm doing well, powering along towards the end of another novel. This one is a m/m shifter romance but the two main characters ended up being hugely traumatized (by the same abusive person). One is a sex-repulsed asexual and the other is so are/aro that he doesn't even get what attraction is. Interesting to write but I don't know how I can call it a 'romance' at this point. Still 6-8 chapters to go, though, so we'll see where I end up once I hit my vaguely plotted out points.

Hmmmm. I don't think I do regret posting. I had my fair share of trolling on a couple of things last year and the beginning of this one, but the fics itself are not even super controversial and I had fun creating them,so no regrets there. If I have regrets they're more in the "could have been better", "should not have rushed through" departments

I do regret having had to write one — although by now I regret the circumstances of it being requested from me/the way the communication made me feel bad about writing anything and the subsequent struggle and headaches thinking about all that caused me, but in the end the fic itself is something I can be proud of and I do not regret posting it at all.

Hmm, I don't think I regret posting anything, though maybe in the area of writing mechanics. I look back at some earlier fics and recognize mistakes.

Avengers: Endgame has gotten me inspired. So far I've been inspired by three ideas in fix-it mode. :)

I was pleased with The Big Bang Theory series finale. I thought they did a good job. :)

All of them to some varying degree? lol I'm very shy and I love to share my writing, but I also really, really hate sharing my writing. xD I mildly regret posting anything Rurouni Kenshin at this point due to circumstances surrounding Watsuki, but alas~ I love the Meiji time period, I love kimono, and I really love Saitou and Sanosuke as characters so, I just suck that up and accept that the world is a crummy place to be sometimes, but it's where I am so~ I'm just gonna write the characters and settings that inspire me.

(I kinda hate that I feel a lot less regret, shame, and guilt for my terrible, no good, horrible, very bad rape fics that I write regularly than I do writing consensual loving, sometimes snarky, SaitouxSano~ Ah world, you srsly suck sometimes lol)

Smutty plot bunny!!! I hope you can get to that bunny soon! I've been chugging a long on a few things. Still feeling terribly behind. I thought that I could have a break for May, lol I'm such a fool. I did finish 3 exchange fics tho! And pretty happy with them. Hope the third person likes their fic... that was one I enjoyed writing the most and still no comment yet. xD

(Sorry for the like 9 posts worth of spam today! It was actually very good for my brain to work through this backlog, I feel like I got something done that's been hanging over my head for awhile. <3)
