--what gets you excited whilst writing?

Oooooh. Dramatic irony. Identity play. Pining. Characters that are oblivious to others and often to themselves as well. Give me those to write and I'll write forever. (Not coincidentally, what I'm working on is chock-full of all of them, so it's been fun). What excites you?

Ha, that's easy! I like to write romantic get-togethers, preferably over a meal. ;) I enjoy writing characters set in the past so I can play with all the historical details. I love hurt/comfort. All of these things get me excited! :)

Right now I am getting ready to start my second professional novel and am working on my old fanfics to get them ready for posting. I got some good news today so I'm fired up to do some writing! :)

Identity play is a lot of fun, isn't it? And I get a kick out of irony. Pining and oblivious characters? Always fun! ;)

Gearing up for St. Patrick's Day Weekend! Whoo hoo! :)

P.S. Describing food as mentioned above? It doesn't get any better than that! ;)

Oooh~ This can range from just describing kimono and Edo/Meiji era settings to hardcore problematic things. xD I usually like to stick with stubborn characters, especially in sexual situations, and the kinky stuff. All the kink. (But really, kimono get me really jazzed up to write, haha!)

I joined a pretty active writing community, to help me get into the habit of writing AND finishing more, so far it has gone well! =D Writing Shiritori has been really getting me in the mind set to finish things, which is like. My Kryptonite lol And!!! I started a new fic and was surprised to actually finish it today, even while at work. xD Apparently I just really, really needed to write some angsty SaiSa mpreg. The easiest 2500 words I've written in a long while.

(And hahaha. I've been avoiding something that is past due, while working on other things, oops. But... Better something than nothing!)
