--How did the main characters of your current WiP meet?

I suppose this question is often the same if you're writing fanfic--but not always, depending on the canon and how often you like to play around with backstory! Clark and Bruce, for example, met a dozen different ways in canon and I enjoy shuffling them all around. Sami and Kevin, on the other hand, I mostly stick to their canonical first meeting because it's plenty romantic exactly as it is (They met briefly and Kevin thought he was annoying, then he sneaked into a wrestling show that his teacher had forbidden him to attend and saw Sami wrestle and pretty much fell in love with him on the spot).

No writing of any sort got done this week and I'm miserable about it. I've promised myself 45 minutes if I can just find the time tomorrow or Sunday, but the last four weeks have basically been nothing but work until I fall asleep, get up and do it again. It's... very galling. I really hope things are better for you right now!

Ouch, I feel your pain about not writing. Lately I've had the same problem and it makes you feel constipated! ;)

How did my main characters meet? Since it's Clark and Lex, that's easy. Clark saved Lex from drowning and Lex thought he awakened to an angel. ;)

Actually, I have been sneaking in some stuff here and there. I'm posting good stuff and writing a Halloween The Waltons story. Every once in awhile I get the urge to write from that show, and it always turns out to be Halloween, for some reason! Maybe because they did have some pretty good spooky stories for the holiday during a long run. :)

I'm also pegging 2019 as the year I finish the editing on my pro novel and start a new one. I'll be working sporadically on it the rest of the year, but the holidays always means crunch time for writing, so I decided to primarily do the relaxing stuff (fanfic) and tackle the profic next year right after New Year's. How's that for a resolution? :)

It's such a bad feeling, and so frustrating! There's just way too much stuff in every day right now...

Raelin and Anwyn are sisters. So, you know, they were born. Of course, given that this story is way non-romantic, the question doesn't quite work right but yeah, that's how.

The protagonists and antagonist? Their families are rivals and Siobhan (the antagonist) picked a fight with Anwyn (one of the protagonists). When they were 9 and 7 respectively. *laughs some more* Easy answer for once for me!

Good luck getting some writing time. Mine has been happening despite computer failure, vacations, writer's conferences and RSI issues flaring up. Which is where I'm off to now, because I'm nearly at 2 1/2 years of writing every single day. Not gonna lose my streak! I'm hoping you break your not-writing streak *crosses fingers for you*

Oh man, what a question. What a week for a question like this lmao

I'll start with Saitou and Sanosuke:

Whelp, Saitou was trying to drive home a not so subtle point to Kenshin about how he had allowed himself to become weak sooo... Saitou stabbed Sanosuke through the shoulder while Kenshin wasn't home. lol Love at first violent act? Then Sanosuke kinda... went out of his way to impress Saitou and Saitou of course pretended to be totally disinterested. Totally disinterested... Yup. Suuure.

Pairing number two! Creeper and Joker lol It's crack time.

Well, poor Jack Ryder tried to get the scoop on Joker and that... backfired when the Joker dropped him in a vat of the same stuff that made the Joker the Joker. (At least going off of BtAS canon, not sure about the comic canon for this!) What could possibly be more romantic than that... Joker made himself a crazy little buddy. And of course, in the case of my fic, gratuitous porn just happens because really that's all I write. lol

D= That's a really tough schedule to deal with! I hope things cool off for you soon and you get enough time to write!!! I was getting prepped for a convention and doing that sooo not a week of much writing for me, either. But now it's time to catch up!!!

And I don't think I've ever seen Creeper/Joker fic, and yet it makes so much sense.
