What is your most recent POV character’s most noticeable physical attribute?

Oh, we're back to Kevin Owens just in time! Man, I dunno... seen in the wild in civilian clothes Kevin is a pretty normal schlub, I have to confess. I think he works pretty hard at being unassuming when he's not at work destroying people. Lately it would probably be his arms, I think he's been working out more and he's starting to have pretty muscular arms; if he were wearing something sleeveless I think that would catch the eye.

Writing is slow and painful still! The nonfiction is very involving (I'm writing a history of two wrestlers' career together, which is complicated because it's in part a history the real people and in part a history of their characters' story. Which means the latter half is basically fiction, and someone described it complimentarily as "fan fiction" and I kind of froze up--I think I use a lot of the same tropes and images that appear in my fic about the characters, but I had hoped it wasn't THAT obvious!) but it's still chewing up a lot of energy. I probably need to cut back to once a month instead of every other week, but I want to wait until I finish this part of the history first, which will happen in June if all goes well. I hope things are going smoothly for you too!

My current POV character is Dick Grayson. Need I say more about which is his most noticeable physical attribute? ;)

Sounds like you have an interesting but challenging project. I enjoy reading about how it's going. :)

I am a little excited as I've started a little The Alienist piece. I've really been absorbed by that miniseries. A pity the final episode is next Monday. I read the book by Caleb Carr and consider it superior, but that's usually the case between books and movies, anyway, yet this TV adaptation is very, very good. I'm not crazy about the occasional gore but I try and overlook it because the story is so damned good.

If I had such an icon, I definitely would've used it! ;)

Small canons are tough, but fanfic writers are like archeologists: we find a fragment in the ruins and spin whole new worlds, LOL! I managed to write dozens of fics for Public Enemies, a two-hour canon. If you find the right fragment, you're off and running! Otherwise you can be stuck searching for the Rosetta Stone.

Hey there, it's been...a long time. In good news: I've set up an Etsy shop! But, because that took up a lot of my time, the only writing I've done was ficlets for my The Museum of Other Worlds project. (I did manage to keep to my new schedule for it - writing five ficlets each week that go up once a day Mon-Fri.) And, so, I didn't really have much to say here.

Still working (off and on) on the untitled short horror story, so my most recent POV character is Sam. And, well, to be honest, I'm trying to keep away from actually describing them. Since I'm writing this in 2nd POV, I kind of want the reader to put themselves into Sam's shoes and fill in the blanks themselves. (Does that make sense?) The only descriptions that I've given so far is that Sam is shorter than their friend, Nadine, but taller than their unnamed sister. (I just, don't have names for Sam's family yet.)

In other news, I've signed up for Camp NaNo in April. I'm working the novel-turned-novella (well, two novellas, but I'm only working on the first one this upcoming month). My word count goal is 20,000 words, so hopefully I'll be able to reach it. Anyway, I'll have plenty to talk about here in the next month.

Right now, I'm trying to get a buffer for The Museum because I don't want to stick it on hiatus for the next month.

That would be Leslie from my latest novel. He's a wolf shifter so I could go with that as his most noticeable physical attribute but that seems like cheating. I think I'd go with his very black and sleek hair. Which doesn't say much when he's in his human form but as a wolf he's very beautiful. *grin*

Writing for me has been going well but not fast enough for my tastes. I want to finish the current book (I'm like 1 1/2 chapters from the end) before my husband and I go on vacation. We'll be in your neck of the woods! We're going to Japan from the 29th to the 9th and spending time in Osaka (with day trips to Kyoto) and then up in Tokyo. Should be a ton of fun even if it looks like we're going to hit the tail end of the cherry blossoms.

And of course I'm going to write another Landslide Romance while I'm there. :D

Good luck on the nonfiction! it sounds really interesting but hard to write. Hope that you manage to get it working!

Argh! Running so late. And not really sure who I wrote last so... Saitou! For him, its his height, as he towers over most people and was historically the tallest known member of the Shinsengumi! His second most noticeable trait would definitely be his narrow, gold eyes. It was certainly the first thing Sanosuke noticed~

Writing has been kind of... Eh the past few weeks. I wrote less in March than I did in February, but I was in a better place emotionally in March than in February. Kind of odd how that happens, but with Camp NaNo here, it's time to kick it into gear!!!
