--If your most recent POV character knew they had exactly one month to live, what would they do?
Oh man, why do I get these kinds of questions with Aleister Black? I don't think he'd do anything much differently, because he tries to live his life with no attachments or regrets, so he lives as if he'd die tomorrow anyway! Frustrating... I want to get back to writing my messy super-flawed characters again, but I haven't had the time, because I've been visiting family. I hope your writing is going well and none of your characters have less than a month to live!

Date: 2018-03-02 05:22 pm (UTC)He would request to return to Gotham and spend his final days at the Manor with Bruce and Alfred and would probably have constant visitors, which would please him. But in the end, it would be just him, Bruce and Alfred and he'd be at peace.
Writing has been slow recently but steady when I get the chance to scribble. The weather today is a good, old-fashioned nor'easter with high winds, heavy rains, and snow! Good think I don't live on the coast because they expect high flooding and have ordered many communities to evacuate.
The weather gets wilder every year, but nope, there's no climate change! *rolls eyes*

I'm so glad it had some steadiness to it! Even with the weird wild weather we had this year...

Date: 2018-03-03 04:24 am (UTC)Adrian, on the other hand (since he's the POV I'm working on in the next chapter) would make a point of hunting down Leslie's former lover and near murderer and eliminating him so that Leslie could feel safe at last.
*grin* They're pretty different people which makes the story fun to write.
Writing hasn't been as plentiful as I'd want but I'm still getting things done every day so it's all good. Speaking of which, I need to go do some writing once I post this.
Hope you get a chance to steal some writing time and that your visit goes well!

I hope the new year is treating you well? I am... using the break to maybe get a little caught up on stuff. Maybe some writing later as well? But getting caught up...

Date: 2018-03-04 07:15 am (UTC)For Tony's part in this case, he became a superhero and remained his eccentric self, but tried to do better. Which I guess s a trait shared by the Tonys.
I think any Tony who knew he had only weeks left, would get his things in order, would make sure his legacy is going to survive and everything goes into the right hands. He would tell nobody and push people away or make very cryptic good-byes. Well, in MCU that IS what he did, isn't? I think 616 Tony would be gentler, but he'd also not tell anyone and make his preparations alone.
I'm writing Bruce right now though and I think with him it would be similar. He does have backup. He'd make sure everything was prepared and Gotham would have a protector after him.
Writing was up and down. I wrote the most upsetting thing I ever wrote this week, and I like it. And I'm behind on all my writing plans, because life and other things keep getting in the way.
I hope you can get back to writing soon!

Date: 2019-01-02 02:21 am (UTC)Oh Tonys. *grin* I love that that's a sentence that makes so much sense with your writing!

I love those kinds of characters so very much, and I especially love how Tony seems so dramatic on the surface, but when it matters, he's just quietly pragmatic.
My writing never really picked up, and obviously my comment-answering not so much either! But a fresh new year is a fresh new start, right?

Date: 2018-03-05 06:37 am (UTC)If it was Saitou, and he only had hours to live, he'd go home, sit in seiza and tell his family history to his eldest son until he died.I actually don't know who my last POV is, so I'll just stick with Saitou. I don't know what he would really do anything different if he knew he had a month to live versus a few hours.
He'd probably just drink more.Writing has been very crappy lately, but I'm trying. I'm not succeeding, but I'm trying.
