--Who depends on your most recent POV character? Why?

Oh, this doesn't work terribly well with Aleister Black, because he's a classic loner with almost no human connections! In the story I'm writing, he's being recruited to join a squad of people who fight the supernatural, and in part he's worried about joining because it would mean caring about people and having them dependent on him... (which I didn't realize until just this moment, writing this, so that's a really useful insight!)

Fic writing is slow but interesting! Non-fiction writing... I sat down and hashed out the next set of essays and the schedule should give me content and goals until July, so that's both good and a bit daunting... I hope you're being daunted in the best of ways right now!

Ah yes! Saitou. Of course. Very good person for this question, yes, yes. Saitou, being a husband and father, has his family that depends on him, but I feel his wife, Tokio, would be very independent and able to take care of herself. His children too. Saitou is away a lot for work, and he would definitely want for his family to be able to care for themselves, especially from physical harm. I imagine he trains his children in martial arts, and probably his wife too, though I tend to think she knew how to defend herself before Saitou came into her life.

Then there are Saitou's superiors in the police force. He's heavily relied on to do a lot of their dirty work, to work as their assassin, but ah... I think he takes a lot of matters into his own hands and thanks to the magick of manga/anime, he's able to get away with straight up murder of people he deems as 'evil'. Though, arguably, they would prefer he points his sword at less than stellar individuals, rather than at them~

Sanosuke! I think he primarily relies on Saitou for food and a good time, but it depends on what particular fic I'm working on as for how much more intimate Sanosuke's needs for Saitou are. X3

Writing has... happened this week, just not as good as last week. But! I did finish a drawing of Saitou and Tokio that I've been working on! I'm really amazed at how much detail I crammed into it, seeing as I do not know what I am doing in regard to backgrounds. I'm actually really amazed at how far my art has come in general in the last few years. Being able to illustrate my stories is actually helping to motivate me to write more of them too!

YAY I INSPIRED YOU TO WRITE A LITTLE MORE. There have definitely been some times that I have considered doing that, too!

Writing has... happened this week, just not as good as last week. But! I did finish a drawing of Saitou and Tokio that I've been working on! I'm really amazed at how much detail I crammed into it, seeing as I do not know what I am doing in regard to backgrounds. I'd never thought about how being able to do art AND writing might spur each one to get better! Maybe because I have never developed any kind of artistic sense at all, alas... Maybe when I retire? :D

Polishing a story from Dick's POV, so I'd say Bruce depends on him for light, laughter, and love. Also to have his back out on the streets. Even when they argue, Bruce knows that Dick loves him.

Slow but interesting is a good way of putting it. :) I could apply that to me, too. I'm close to finishing my first draft of my Clex Halloween story and I know I'm going to have to do a major rewrite of the climax, but I'm moving on to finish it and worry about editing later. Fortunately there's no deadline so I've got all the time I need to improve it.

Extremely tired since I'm still recovering. People who write characters having sex right after major surgery obviously never underwent surgery themselves!

There have been some REALLY excellent issues with Dick and Bruce interacting in the wake of his breakup with Selina lately hat I've really loved! Just showing how they're there for each other and how much they mean to each other... I hope you've had a chance to see some scans!

Now and then you've just gotta get DONE and polish things later! I've got two chapters to write and whoooooo, I just would like to finish it. It was only a seven-chapter story but that still may be more than I can handle right now...

Bruce as the Ultimate Faux-Loner just never fails to crack me up. It's such a funny paradox!
