superhero_muses--Describe a recurring dream or nightmare your most recent POV character might have.
I'm late putting this up because I was at the dentist for emergency care for a cracked tooth! Augh... December has basically destroyed me this year, I'm behind on everything by at least a month, alas. Here's hoping things are going better for you!
I think Sami's recurring nightmare is... oh, all of the options are rather unpleasant. Rather than get TOO angsty, I'll say that most wrestlers specifically mention that they tend to have a recurring nightmare where they can hear their entrance music playing and are trying to lace their boots up and can't remember how to do it. (On the slightly angsty side, I think he may well have a recurring nightmare right now where he freezes in panic and doesn't save Kevin, and wakes up thrashing around and yelling to himself).

It's not likely to go away anytime soon but at least Eka, her new finace is aware of it and is helping her feel safer. In part so that xe doesn't get stabbed when Ale wakes from a nightmare while they're cuddling. ;)

Date: 2018-03-30 10:26 am (UTC)It was weirdly UNpainful, actually! I got really lucky and acted fast, so the piece stayed in place and it was fairly simple to fix it. In fact, I ran into trouble because the temporary seal was so good the next dentist said there was no crack and wouldn't fix it and sent me home, where eventually it cracked again! But then he did fix it, thank goodness...
(The getting caught up obviously did not go as well!)

Cuddles turning to stabs is a real engagement-killer! :) I hope the writing of this went smoothly, it looks like it was really interesting...

Date: 2017-12-09 05:51 am (UTC)Ah... I have been writing a bunch of different scenes today, switching between Saitou and Sano POV so... I'll start with Saitou. A nightmare he might often have is people leaving him, since he has suffered so much loss, and when Sanosuke comes into his life... Maybe he fears that he will lose him too, and Saitou is helpless to stop him; being helpless is probably the most terrifying thing Saitou could experience.
Now Sanosuke... His reoccurring dream would probably be fairly similar to Saitou's, feeling helpless to help his friends, though it probably would not be as ingrained in him as it is in Saitou. Sanosuke has suffered through some devastating loss but... Saitou went through so much loss there's a good possibility he's numb to it. Or, Saitou just drinks so much he pretends he's numb to it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Writing has been going really well! I seem to be writing three different fics all at once, and/or three different parts of the same scene all at once, hence why I am POV bouncing so heavily, but hey! I'm chasing whatever new idea pops into my head and still able to return to those unfinished sentences I have a tendency to leave. =D

I hope the writing kept going smoothly even with the POV bouncing around! I'm just buckling in and focusing on the nonfiction now, I guess. I really want to finish this little piece with one character waking up to the next one who's in the middle of an erotic dream, but alas, there's so little time... (the tooth is doing fine, at least!)

Ohhhhhh.
That is a good question and I should probably not answer, because I would be giving away what I'm writing for an anon holiday exchange, haha. That said I'm working out at least three fics at the same time right now in different fandoms and in all of them the dream would be a very realistic dream about another character dying - and all because these deaths occurred in canon in some way or another.
I may have to write a ghost story soon. I always shy back from writing those, but I'm in the mood for something haunted and scary and with all those deaths... Hmm. *ponders*

Siiiiiigh. I refuse to give up, but being almost four months behind is discouraging! The tooth did get fixed with few problems, at least...

Ooooh, did you do it? I don't write them often either, but they can be fun if you're in just the right mood, and writing a lot of death might do it...

Yeah, Bruce's nightmares are fairly easy to parse, aren't they?
Luckily the tooth was a major break, but so clean that it was easy to fix. No problems since then, thank goodness!
