Aug. 10th, 2017 11:32 pm--What is your most recent POV character’s greatest achievement?
Yikes, it's a wrestler named Drew Gulak and... I don't know, the dude is kind of an unlovable loser. He briefly fooled himself into thinking that he'd won someone over to his way of thinking, but as it turned out, he hadn't. Poor Drew.
I'm super-busy with the nonfiction and also with my family right now, since I'm in the States visiting! Sadly little time left for the (official) fic (the nonfiction is basically fic in the same way a profic novelisation of a movie is fic)... I hope things are going great for you and your characters and yourself are enjoying great achievements!

Date: 2017-08-11 10:58 pm (UTC)Jaden, on the other hand, would think that Padma's current greatest achievement was tazing her (Jaden's) stalker-boyfriend-for-one-date-only Ravinder in the middle of a Chinese restaurant. Because that was awesome. *grin*
Have fun with your family and with the nonfic! I'm maybe 6 chapters from the end of the my 3 novels in 3 months challenge so I'm happy.

Date: 2017-08-15 04:20 am (UTC)Ah, caught me on a Saitou week... Hmmm. I'm really not sure about this. Saitou has done so many things, survived the Bakumatsu, served the Shinsengumi and Lord Aizu diligently. He had a high position in the Seinan Wars and went on to become an assistant police inspector. He was awarded many things for his service in the army and the police... Then there's marrying Tokio and having 3 boys. Then for fictional achievements, surviving Shishio, a madman who threatened everything Saitou had fought so hard for. But, would Saitou consider any of these his greatest achievement? I'm not sure, but I think his being able to transition from the Shogunate way of life to the Meiji government is definitely a feat not to be ignored.
I really haven't done much writing but that's because I have been drawing and designing costumes for Comic Con! I've got a month to finish up 2 versions of Harley Quinn, one Joker, and one Ivy. XD And then I get to work on stuff for Anime Banzai right after that... Totally not drowning here. Totally.

It sounds like a LOT of feats to choose from, to be honest. As does your costume design work! I hope it's gone well!

Date: 2017-12-07 04:09 pm (UTC)Sian: Until recently Sian hasn't accomplished anything much greater than successfully rounding up a rowdy shift of regulars at the bar without anyone dying (he works bartender/server at his father's inn). Successfully learning to operate his stepmother's improbable infinite ale machine, maybe?
Mary: Making it all the way to where she is now. She's from a country so far off that the natives of the primary setting literally refer to it as the Yonderlands, and it was a perilous trip by sea, and her first time all alone in the world after the loss of her family.

*snort* Again, I really love how Sian's answers tend to be sort of deflating, tucked in between these intense angsty backstories...
