How has the writing gone this week? I've gotten not as much done as I'd liked, added about 5 new ideas to my "write this" file without cleaning anything off the board, but that's okay because I have a lot of things I want to write! This is a good situation. And I'm about 2,000 words into my Big Bang with the first check-in tomorrow, so I'm feeling not ecstatic about it, but at least progress is being made. I hope things are coming along well for you!

The writing has actually been pretty slow but that's because I was ferociously busy getting several old stories (published in 2013 when I knew NOTHING) up to proper quality standards. Good covers, formatting, blurbs. All that jazz.

It's a lot of work so yeah, my writing totals were way lower. But I'm starting a new novel today (working on the first chapter after I post this) so I'm happy. I'm back to Matriarchies of Muirin with one of my favorite characters and no romance at all to fuss over this time. Just politics and family and my favorite world to play in.

Should be a blast!

Plus I have a novel ready to post tomorrow so that's good, too. The year's starting off well. Now I just need to get my publishing website going as well... *dies*

Good luck with all your ideas and getting the Big Bang going! BTW, the Japan novel will be out probably the first week of March. :D

I'm back to Matriarchies of Muirin with one of my favorite characters and no romance at all to fuss over this time. Just politics and family and my favorite world to play in.

I like the idea of moving back and forth between romance plots and non-romance plots! Keeps you fresh. :)

It's amazing what you've learned in 4 years! You've gotten so much more polished...

Writing has been a bit slow because I've been cleaning and re-organizing stuff around my room. (Some places in here really needed it.) I have finally finished (I hope), so with that out of the way, the writing should pick up.

Still working on world building in The Novel. I've been focusing on character stuff lately. I have, however, just introduced something that throws off what I've established so far in terms of how magic works in this novel. (And just when I thought that I had a good system going too.)

Also wrote a couple of little Star Wars ficlets starring a couple of OCs. I've got a lot of little finished and half-finished ficlets starring these two, and I keep thinking about maybe turning them into something bigger.
