--What do you like best about your current WiPs?

Oh, let's see! "Heroes" it's been the challenge of the fusion, finding ways to turn both wrestling canon and comics canon into a new thing together. The other two are wrestling fics, one set in Japan (so what I like best is imagining how the characters would react to Japan); and the other is a ridiculous fake-dating romp which I like because I get to have fun with a character who is pretty much incapable of realizing he's in love with someone. I don't know why, I just really enjoy writing him as ALMOST figuring his feelings out and then not quite being able to. Luckily the other half of his OTP is patient and content to wait (while punching each other in the face a lot).

I got a TON of writing done yesterday, actually, so I am feeling on top of the world! I finished the fake-dating story (my beta's looking at it), I finished the first chapter of the Japan story and will post it soon, and I am one scene away from done with "Heroes!" How about you, feeling good?

Oh, good question. I think what I like best about my current book is that it's about a group of friends saving the world, not through dramatic quests, but by making little changes that help people live happier, more fulfilled lives. No idea yet if it'll work but so far it's a blast to write. The current character Sparrow is so much fun to write. All run-on sentences and weird perceptions of the world and it's kinda like writing a steamroller with sentience. XD

I have NOT gotten much writing done, though. I caught a cold on Monday and it's kept me from getting much of anything done lately. But I'm off Friday through Monday (4 day weekend) so I'm going to try to get caught up. Haven't even gotten this week's story ready for publication. Tomorrow. *crosses fingers*

Oh wow, good for you getting so much done! Fake dating is always great and what's this Japan story? Yay for the end of Heroes, too!

As a total non sequitur, I love the name "Sparrow" so much--and I think it would be the kind of character who uses run-on sentences, for that matter.

Curse the common cold! It's so awful when it runs you down just enough to make creativity impossible.

Sadly, neither the fake dating nor Japan are superheroes! But I'm REALLY hoping to get to some movieverse fic once I finish up Heroes...
