Writing is continuing to go well for me, though smut, not so much! I tried, I really did, but lately I'm just so much happier writing...I don't even know what I'd call it, it's not fade to black but I go so far into the person's head during the scene that the actual physical action kind of disappears. I'm sure it's annoying to some readers, but I'm not writing fanfic to get better at writing detailed descriptions of penises, so that's how it's gonna be. Ha.

How about you? I've got my 3000 words of "I'm having emotions during sex" stories, what's working for you this week?

I'm getting so tired of variations of the phrase 'my productivity is low/nonexistent due to IRL shenanigans' because I feel like that's all I ever reply to this with.

'Having emotions during sex' sounds like something far more desirable to read to me than sex to be honest, that sounds delicious. I approve.

Ugh, ughhhh, that sucks so much. IRL shenanigans are the actual worst, blah. I have a cold today and that's bumming me out! I'm plugging lots and lots of Vitamin C and trying to rest--I'm lucky it settled in just as I have a couple of days off to do very little.

Well, really. What's the point of sex if you're not having emotions during it? No, seriously, I fail to understand why anyone would do it just for the exercise of it. *snorts*

Writing hasn't been anywhere near as productive as I wanted. Last week was a total loss due to a huge audit at work (four full days!) and I'm still getting back up to speed. I did finish one short story the day before yesterday and I'm fairly close to finishing up a second one today (just have to actually sit down and write) so it's not bad. Just not what I wanted, you know?

Man, it's been forever since I wrote smut. I should get back to my trans-man with four husbands stranded on a BDSM planet spy story soon. It's been too long since I worked on it. *grin*

Ooooh, that sounds like a good exercise! I indulged my love of writing voyeuristic masturbation and am feeling pretty good about that. Haha, oh man, that sounds weird, but oh well.

Sorry to hear last week wasn't the best for you! Sounds like you were pretty productive anyway--you usually are! I'm storing up some time to sit down and write tomorrow--I want to tackle a new Clark/Bruce story, I just haven't decided what yet...
