Writing this week...well, I have two pieces done and sitting in my "finished" folder, just waiting for me to get caught up on other things before finally posting them. It's nice to have a backlog again--for a while I used to have five or six finished stories just sitting and waiting, and it gave me a happy glow to know they were there and ready. Lately thanks to time pressures I've had to post as soon as something is done, and somehow that stresses me out, I really like having them be done but still just mine for a while. So this week I have a happy warm fuzzy feeling and all is well. How about you?

This week has been a no-writing week. There's a big audit at work, four full days (though she's just now gone off to write her notes a couple of hours early, yay!) so I haven't had brain or time for writing. *sad sigh*

It was expected. I knew in advance that I wouldn't get anything written this week. Just annoying to live through.

Glad that you've got that warm fuzzy feeling, anyway--congrats on the stories!

I hear you very much on the "I knew this week was going to be a loss, but it's frustrating to watch it actually unfold." It's such an agonizing feeling--maybe better than UNEXPECTEDLY not having time or energy, but still.

I just wrote 750 more words and finished a chapter, so warm fuzziness continues! I hope you've been able to get back into the swing of things!
