How's everyone? Gotten much writing done this week? I got a few pages of snarky (non-superhero, alas) banter written and am feeling good about that, and am planning a huge battle sequence big wrestling match scene--there is surprisingly little difference in planning these two things for writing purposes! (Wait, for another non-superhero thing I am ALSO planning an actual huge battle sequence! No wonder I'm feeling frazzled!) Am behind on everything and just found out I'll have a last-minute guest next weekend...and considering my usual way of dealing with priorities has been "put housecleaning last," well...there's a lot of cleaning in my near future. Better go find a "cleaning sucks and I'm bad at it and it makes me angry" mix on 8tracks.com...

How about you? What are you plotting and planning at the moment?

I'm doing really well on my current novel, though it's going to be longer than I expected. I thought it'd be around 60K but I'm at 55K or so and I'm nowhere near the ending. Not that I'm sure what the ending is. I did manage to get my hero to the forbidden city and whee, there were some nice twists and surprises along the way! Now he's revealing a secret he's kept for months to his lovers and exploring the hidden city of death. Pretty soon, like in a few pages, I expect that the residents will show up to make his life difficult. Well, more difficult. It's already difficult. XD

Have fun with your battles! Maybe promise yourself fluff once you get through? There's always HC to enjoy after battles. ;)

I am actually promising myself disturbing dark angstfic about a dysfunctional relationship after. :) I have an odd definition of "reward," perhaps...
