--Who would play your current WiP's main characters in a movie?

Well, for fanfic of course we already have options, so I guess I'd say which version do you see in your fic, or is it an amalgam of different actors? My live-action Clark is most often Brandon Routh and my live-action Bruce usually Christian Bale, simply because those were the dominant versions when I was doing a lot of my writing. I liked Cavill and Affleck fine but they just never clicked as mine, in a way. This might change with the new movie--I'm open-minded to Corenswet's curly-haired Clark, for example!
For people working from older TV fandoms, who would you cast if there was going to be a modern new remake of your favorites?

Heh heh 😁

Hmm, good question!

Christopher Meloni is about the right age for Frank. Wait, you say, he's known for hard-edged characters in the Law & Order franchise and Oz. But Frank can be tough. And his sweetness? Meloni's a good actor, so let him act!

Or Jesse L. Martin could be another choice. Like Meloni, he's played a cop (original Law & Order) and a gentler character (Barry Allen's adoptive father in The Flash). He's also rockin' it in The Irrational.

For Adam, it has to be a pretty boy! ☺️ Also someone who can be tough but clearly exhibit sensitivity. Tom Welling could handle that as he showed in Smallville. He has to project a cerebral coolness, too.

They all have to look good in fedoras! 🤠

Christian Bale always for Batman! 🥰

I have always gone with the Smallville version of the characters so Tom Welling & Erica Durance for me. I used to think that Cobie Smulders would make a great Lois in the past but from what I've seen, I like the casting in the new Superman movie, especially for her.

If Smallville were to be rebooted, I don't know who I'd cast. As much as I love Tom Welling, I'd want them to be be accurate with the ages this time around. I'm convinced Clark got a lot less sympathy due to the fact that while he was good at making young expressions, Tom Welling definitely didn't look 15.
