--What is your current POV character's greatest fear?

It's interesting because writing a distinctly AU Superman is always kind of an odd experience! I think this version of Clark's greatest fear is exposing the people who took him in as a baby to danger, but I am not sure who those people are (do the Kents exist in this universe or did he just take the name "Kent" at random? I don't know yet, but surely the Kents exist, right?) It's kind of fascinating working with such a bare-bones AU. It's not like starting from scratch where I can do anything I want, but so much is still unknown! I suppose that's very common when writing comic book characters without a lot of backstory...
I hope everything is purring along for you with your most recent projects, whatever they may be!

Frank's greatest fear is his worry that Adam won't stick with him because he's so much older and Adam's worry is not measuring up. Adam's a worrier (shown in the series) and has anxiety, which I am well-acquainted with! Poor boys! 🥺

I will finish this original novel or else! ☺️

The May/December aspect is really interesting. Frank can be progressive and Adam old-fashioned at times, and there are scenarios I envision when Frank retires, Adam goes with him. I don't think the poor guy could last until he was eligible to put in his papers with his heightened sensitivity. He is a candidate for early burn-out. 🥺
