Okay, that counts as an offbeat question! I think you can go with either your general writing process or your current WiP, actually. Without overthinking it, I'd go with...
--A few heaping cups of stubbornness
--laced with a generous helping of research
--sprinkled with a crunchy coating of semicolons and colons (the editor for my book hates semicolons and colons, and it is a torment to me every time he removes them!)
How's the current WiP going? Are you cooking up anything good?

Date: 2024-06-14 12:26 pm (UTC)Hmm, I would describe my current fannish WIP (Bruce/Dick Edwardian AU) as a stew with many ingredients: hot peppers, sweet tomatoes, sharp onions, sturdy beef, and crunchy carrots. Dick's European background and Bruce's more cultivated palate combines into a spicy stew under Alfred's steady tutelage. π₯
