--Is your current WiP inspired by any real-world events or experiences?

This is a very "duh" question for me this week, because it's a history/biography, so of course! Usually that's a lot rarer when I'm writing fiction, although sometimes I'll have some historical parallels.

This week has been brutal--classes started and so of course I immediately have no time, and also a houseguest came to visit for a night yesterday so the house had to be immaculate! Hoping to get back to at least an hour a day of writing starting tomorrow, though... How are things with you?

Oh wow, yeah, I'd never even really thought about 9/11 in some fandoms. There are going to be canons where the pandemic is canon as well (I'm happy it didn't happen in the DC comics canon!) In fact, I just had to write about the effects of the pandemic on wrestling, and that was rough, let me tell you. Just agonizing to go back and write about December 2019, knowing what was coming...
