It's tough. Losing a loved one is never easy. 😔
Review of 2023: RL stress and concentration on original fic lowered my fanfic output and I see the same for 2024. Still, I write the occasional fanfic because it relaxes me. If I get an idea, I'm happy to see what happens. 📝
