--How long have you been writing?

I wrote small things while in school, but never really believed I could actually write for any kind of audience until I was much older. I wrote my first publicly-shared fanfic in 1999! I didn't start writing in earnest until around 2006, but at this point that's still a pretty long time, haha...

I've been writing stories ever since I learned how to write. My Get Smart knock-off was read aloud to the class by my fifth-grade teacher. :) I wrote about Nancy Drew and other books and TV shows and always knew I wanted to be a writer.
