This was a holiday week here in Japan and I actually got a fair amount of writing done, including one really nice stretch where I wrote about a thousand words in a sitting. It's been a while since I've been able to get in that kind of flow state where words came readily, and it was a real pleasure. And oddly, it was while writing a fight scene, which are usually a challenge! Now I just have to figure out how fade-to-black I want the ending (the final challenge, a a difficult one for me).

I hope your first week in May went well! What are you working on this week and could you enjoy writing it or was it a struggle?

Oh good way to use the Golden Week! It's been a good Golden Week for us because our collegues in head office were enjoying their free time and thus our week was quiet and a predictable and lots of stuff had to wait till after everyone was back at work in Tokyo. ;)

Sounds like a good writing time! It's amazing when scenes just come together and you don't need to push and prod.

I've been working up the nerve to try a new fandom that's a bit more comedy heavy than I usually go for and it's fun to explore but I'm not sure yet I'm getting the tone right. ^^
