Oh, as a fic writer, most simply, I define success as enjoying writing something! Bonus success is if I get a comment that it affected someone emotionally.
My university has decided to postpone classes for two weeks, which means of course the university has decided "yay! Extra time for meetings!" So not much fiction writing this week, although much thinking about it. Hope you are all healthy and happy and having success in whatever way you define it!

Date: 2020-03-27 01:21 pm (UTC)My building is practicing all the guidelines, so far so good. I'm letting my second original novel sit for awhile before I start the editing process. I've found that's the way to go for me. In the meantime, I'm getting some inspiration for fanfic, so that's keeping me satisfied.

Date: 2020-05-03 02:10 pm (UTC)This is me. Most of my friends are the same way and I feel stress in my communities often arises from people watching each others stats a little too obsessively.
I think success for me is having fun in the writing, being happy with what I wrote and maybe engaging with friends or commenters their reactions to it. I do think it's an added level of success for me when I manage to write something that I myself like to reread. (Doesn't always happen, but write for yourself is absolutely a thing, haha. ;) Also why I'm my worst critic, LOL. )
Ah, god luck with the meetings. I've been lucky that most meetings have been postponed and the ones that are happening are more efficient now that we're not together at a table but have real power point agendas to work through. ^^
