Feb. 14th, 2020 07:31 pm--How do you come up with your titles?
Oh, titles are HARD, and if I'm not satisfied with one it can honestly dampen my enthusiasm for a whole fic. I usually wait for some key phrase to suggest itself from the fic itself, but if that doesn't happen, I will go to the ol' song lyrics well. I'm struggling with one for the essay I'm writing right now, honestly! I won't give up hope until I write the last line and find myself still titleless, though...

Dontcha just hate it when you absolutely can't come up with a title? The most frustrating thing!

Date: 2020-02-16 07:15 am (UTC)Sometimes the end or key scenes suggest a title for me, but I also keep list of phrases from songs and movies and poems that sometimes I read through and try to adapt to the topics. Sometimes I discuss it with my beta too.
Titles are just hard. :P (Unless, they just suggest themselves right away... then, they are super satisfying...)
