--Why is this character angry?

This is actually an awfully good question for Sami Zayn, who has suddenly decided to start trusting and adoring a man he should absolutely NOT be trusting. But in part he's decided that his anger at Kevin is nothing compared to his anger at this awful world--Sami is very political and hates Donald Trump, and sees his election as a sign that the world is going to hell, and he's basically given up on it. If the world is all going to hell, he'd rather go to hell WITH Kevin than WITHOUT him.

What's making your characters angry this week? I hope you're getting some good writing time in!

What isn't Loki angry about... But for this particular story, he's angry about his children being taken from him. And uh. Two of them being murdered. This was actually an idea I had years ago while watching the Avengers Assemble episode 'Serpent of Doom' and I wanted Loki to show up. XD I've morphed the idea a lot since then and it not longer has a happy ending. :oops: Loki really is justified in his anger, but he's taking things perhaps a bit too far... Cause you know. Loki.

Writing has gone VERY well for me this week! I am not quite where I want to be (posting some stories late) but considering I started them really late due to lack of interest and depression... I think I did damn good. I'm all caught up on NaNo too, and I started out really behind, like 4k and 5k behind up until yesterday.

Diana is angry that innocent people are being hurt and she feels responsible for it.

And Steve is angry because he had the best possible one night stand with a stranger and now it turns out said stranger was Tony Stark and things are complicated - and he wants things simple and preferably with a happy ending. (But the stranger was up front about him looking "too much like Captain America" and about not liking Captain America so part of this is Steve being angry for himself for having played along then, which made things complicated. xD)

Life has been so busy, but I did get so much writing done in the last week or two that it feels like it's getting better. I'm not sure what it is - if I've rediscovered how to do the time management thing or if it's that I've at least temporarily defeated my anxious feelings about creating fic - but I've been unrepentant in my enjoyment of my own crazy plot ideas and suddenly words happen all over the place.

Hmm, I've started a new romance short story that's super sweet and cute so there's a decided lack of angry to go around. But I think Chandra (the last POV character) gets mad over the way her mom runs her down on everything. Even then, she's just one of those bubbly cheerful characters so she doesn't get mad for long at all. Rahat, her significant other to be, definitely gets angry and specifically got angry earlier in the story because xe got utterly and completely dumped at a bar for a blind date. Very rudely, too.

But then xe met Chandra so hey, it's all good.

I'm doing fairly well on writing this week. Probably won't get as many words as I want tonight because I'm quite tired but hey, I did do very well so far this month. And I know I'll do well for the rest of the month because the hubby's off on a trip to Japan (Tokyo and Osaka) so I'll have lots of quiet time and plenty of food he won't eat to enjoy. XD

Bruce is like his Marvel namesake: he's always angry! ;)

But in my most recent (Golden Age) story, he's got anger over Dick being drafted into the Army and sent to Korea though his primary emotion is more fear than anger. Actually, I did expect more anger from him, but the fear was dominant. Could be because Earth-2 Bruce (pre-COIE) isn't quite as intense as Earth-1's, though if you read the early stories...

Right now I'm writing a longish Clex Halloween story. It might be posted next Halloween or in the spring. Halloween is good any time of year! :)

I had my beginning and an idea of the ending. As usual, the in-between was baffling me, but then I got the inspiration for an OC who is going to drive the plot along. Since Halloween is long past, I have no deadline so am just enjoying the process.

I love the way we have such a variety of Bruces to choose from! The dynamic between Bruce and Dick pre-COIE was so perfect...

I'm glad to know I'm not the only person who sees time apart from a spouse as a chance to indulge in Brussels sprouts and mushrooms and scallops and whatever I generally don't have in the house thanks to differences in taste! :)

LOOKIT ME SIX MONTHS LATE AND STILL PLUGGING ALONG. I've told my parents that I'm hoping the week I spend with them this month will be mostly spent with me banging on my keyboard--and since I can't write fic I might as well catch up on comments!
