I GOT WRITING DONE THIS WEEK! Solid, enjoyable fic writing. It felt so good and it's been so long. *happy sigh* Now I'm really hoping to tackle something DC-related in addition to the wrestling once more.

--Does your most recent POV character have an obsession? Name it.

Ahhhahahaha, this is a good one for Kevin Owens, who is basically a seething ball of various obsessions: with food, with success, with proving himself better than anyone else, and with his ex-friend Sami Zayn. I love characters with obsessions, they drive stories forward and add so much tension (superheroes without obsessions are rare indeed!)

How are your obsessions going lately? And your writing? (For me they are much the same...)

Yay!!!! Congrats on getting the writing done! It's always a lovely feeling, isn't it?

Hmmm, I'm working on a new short story and I have to say that Dana's obsession is how much she hates her mother and why hasn't she cut the woman off yet? Which obsesses her far more than the giant raccoon-shadow-beast she saw last night outside her hotel or the woman she saw fighting it with a deck broom or the little shadow-raccoons that infested her hotel room's entertainment center.

Those are all temporary. Dana's mother is MUCH more long-term of an annoyance. Dana's practical that way. *grin*

Sadly, I'm not getting much in the way of writing done due to this week being one long series of audits. I had to do an audit (I lead it) on Tuesday (and had only begun to prepare on Monday), then we had a customer audit on Wednesday and another one today.

My brain is burned on the bottom and jelly everywhere else. I'm pretty much hoping for a bare 250 words today (got 300 yesterday) because I don't think I can manage much more.

But I did finish the third of the 3 novels in 3 months challenge books so it's all good. Tiring but good.

I'm still managing to write every single day, even while sewing costume pieces (for steampunk Joker, Ivy, and Harley! =D) that I need done in about a month! I have two skirts totally finished and two more half done. It feels so good to have some big things out of the way so early. And!!! I have even been able to write. =D

Is... sex... an appropriate answer...? Oh no wait, that's me; I'm obsessed with writing sex. Ah, I know! To answer more seriously, Saitou is definitely obsessed with looking proper when he goes out in kimono, making sure his collars are smooth and high enough and his obi tied properly. Saitou is also pretty obsessed with his own personal code of ethics and justice and though he works for the police, he's willing to follow his own way and break laws, for the greater good. Now, Sanosuke... He's obsessed with food. XDD He used to be obsessed with having a good fight, but since his defeat by Kenshin, he's mellowed on that front, but omfg how he avoids having a job and mooching on his friends has got to be an obsession of his.

I'm going to have to, at some point, focus on something other than SaitouxSano, like SuperBat and Thorki, cause those BigBang deadlines are coming up fast. ^^;; But I did write out the outline for the kimono panel I will be hosting in October, so that feels really good! I feel so much more cemented and secure with the panel now that I have clear direction; I was starting to feel very overwhelmed and chaotic about it. XD (Plus by working on the kimono panel content, I get to procrastinate SuperBat and Thorki more. =D)

Hmm. My writing was mostly Diana. (Is love and peace and obsession for her? More a passion, I guess?)

I'm also still writing Marvel Noir and Ults and 616 and all in parallel or at the same time. ^^;

This time Noir!Tony battles memory loss, so that and figuring out his relationship with Captain America are his current obsessions.

Writing is going well, but I wish I could make more room for it, because I ahve so many things I want to write, but simply not enough time.

Rorden's driving obsession is Helping the Common Folk, particularly Farmers and remote villagers. He remembers what a hard but proud life his childhood was and how it requires the work of the whole community to just get by (and when faced with bigger threats, it requires much more than that). He wants to be the 'much more' that comes in and helps when bigger threats arrive. He's driven by atonement and a deep desire to see good and peace in the world.

This version of Sian (btw the spelling variation is intentional to distinguish them) is shockingly un-obsessed. He was obsessed with Kemaer in his absence but now that he's here he almost doesn't know what to do with him. XD

Mary is obsessed with her vengeance. She is haunted by those who died in her stead. She will have it, or perish.
