It's two hours to midnight and 2016 here, but I have to be up early tomorrow to travel to Tokyo for family visits, so it seemed a good idea to post early!

So how was 2016? What would you pick out as the trends and themes of the year in your writing? Mine would probably be "long stories," as I spent most of this year working on two of the longest series I've ever written. (I wouldn't recommend this, to be honest! But I generally enjoyed the results...)
